You don’t need to be beautiful to be a mother. You just have to be ready to become one.
I met a young lady who was about becoming a mother, but she is not happy with the way she looks. Her face wasn’t bad, but she has a burnt left hand and a wide bruise on her neck down to her chest. I guess she is scared her child might not like her after all. I don’t think any of us had the privilege of choosing who will conceive us. So, why should a child hate his or her mother because she isn’t as pretty as some other women?
What’s your take? Is beauty in any way a requirement for being a mother? Or is she just feeling insecure?
