How do you deal with worries

Do a lot of literatures (books, movies, songs) and have enough rest. βž• prayers.

Yes. You need to fill your mind with positivity.

The greatest mistake is to discuss worries. And sometimes, praying about it. πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰
Praying might sound awkward to you but it is true. When one is worried and takes prayer for an alternative, they end up becoming anxious and nervous to see or receive answers to their prayers and end to their worries. But you know prayers don’t work that way.

So what happens when you are worried and you pray and answers don’t come instantly… You get worried again and more worried.

As for me, prayers might not be a remedy for worries. But faith sure is.
Worries walks into the mind because it finds an empty space. So, the best way to fight worries is to fill that space up. Books which can also be the Bible or other fiction and nonfiction books, comic movies, high praise and dancehall music and another thing that revives the soul is good for depression and worries.

I hope my contribution is relevant.

Interesting new perspective. Have you ever heard the old song that goes, β€œWhy worry, when you can pray…
You may be onto something in saying that probably prayers wont take worries away but faith would. Maybe we can say a faithless prayer will not help worrying. The scriptures say that without faith, it is impossible to please G-d (paraphrased). β–Ά

Thanks aYoKa. Prayer is the πŸ”‘, in fact the master key. But it is still written, faith without work is died. Why do we pray? For pleasure or during pressure? Or perhaps, to build a relationship with the Supreme? I believe in prayers too, it has changed and turned things around for me in different ways. But I believe we need to do more than pray when it comes to worries.
